The workplace is filled with a wide mixture of people with different backgrounds and habits. Diversification in the workplace is great and helps us all learn from others. However, diverse work environments can also cause tension at times between co-workers. You don’t have to be friends with everyone you work with, that’s optional; but being respectful and professional is never optional.
